Ok, I am late getting started on this so it will be very half assed. You know, like my other posts. Anyway, on to my review.

David Cook and ZZ Top sounded awesome. Michael Johns sounded great. I can picture buying a CD from either of them. I also thought David Cook was thriving now that the pressure is off. That kinda surprised me because I didn’t think he was really bothered by it. Now I think he was really psyching himself out.

David Cook will be famous. He picked amazing arrangements of some great songs that were extremely popular with the current music climate. His talent is in his voice and his ability to spot a hit. He is a very smart guy. He was also right last night. If he had sung one of his previous songs from the show, Simon would have given him all kinds of shit. Simon is a hypocrite and makes my wonderful pregnant wife seem rational.

David Archuleta. I like the guy. Hell, I would let him bang my sister. I wouldn’t buy a CD from him though.

EDIT: The guys have sounded good all night during their group songs. The girls sound terrible except for Kristy Lee Cook.

EDIT 2: I was extremely looking forward to George Michael singing. It made me very sad though. I can’t decide if he really looked old or we are all just aging. Not the song I wanted to hear from him either.

EDIT 3: Paula may sometimes look drunk, but her mind was sharp. She was spot on there.
